SGT MARK ANDREWS - POLICE THUG OF THE WEEK!

Well, you could'nt fail to have picked up the 'latest' incident to have hit the headlines (it actually took place a couple of years ago) involving one of 'Hendons Finest'. I have copied an article from the Daily Mirror which just about covers everything.

Everything except........

Why the fuck does it take 2 years to reach the papers?

Since when is it a crime to sleep in a car?

Why has this case only been dealt with at Magistrates level?

What the fuck goes on inside Britains Police stations?

Why has he now been allowed out (on full pay?) whilst his 'appeal' is being dealt with?

If you have'nt already, read the grim facts below then i will RANT ON......

Brutal cop who hurled innocent woman to cell floor is locked away for six months

A policeman who knocked an innocent woman unconscious by hurling her headfirst on to a concrete floor was jailed for six months yesterday.

Sgt Mark Andrews was caught on CCTV dragging petite Pamela Somerville, 57, to a cell before throwing her to the ground “like a doll”.

The judge called the 6ft 3in officer’s behaviour inexcusable and “a gross breach of trust”.

Deputy District Judge Peter Greenfield added that the 37-year-old ex-soldier presided over an atmosphere of “bullying and intimidation” at the custody suite where he worked.

He was also furious with evidence of two PCs and has written to their bosses in protest.

The pair said Pamela, arrested on suspicion of drink driving after being found asleep in her car, had been “violent and aggressive” when the footage shows her unsteady and submissive.

Judge Greenfield told Jeremy Barton,(nee Roley BirkinQC) defending: “You called two arresting officers whose evidence I don’t accept.” He also attacked the behaviour of a third officer.

Turning to Andrews he said: “There are no excuses. The public will be appalled and totally saddened by your actions as a police officer.”

The dad-of-two was led handcuffed from Oxford magistrates’ court after mouthing “Goodbye” to his wife. Mr Barton immediately submitted papers for an appeal.

Pat Geenty, Assistant Chief Constable of Wiltshire, called Andrews a “disgrace” and apologised. He will almost certainly be sacked.

In CCTV footage shown to the court Pamela – a 5ft 2in market researcher – was seen on the floor with blood pouring from a gash above her eye.

Andrews was found guilty of assault and causing actual bodily harm after a trial before Oxford magistrates in July.

The case was brought after he was reported by WPC Rachel Webb who saw the attack at Melksham police station, Wilts.

Pamela, now 59, said: “What happened to me was extraordinary and terrifying. No one should be treated that way ever again, no matter what they are said to have done.”

The microbiology graduate was arrested when officers found her asleep in her car in a lay-by after an argument with her partner.

Wiltshire Police said she was arrested for failing to provide a breath sample.

She denies being drunk or refusing to provide a sample.

She was charged but police later dropped the case.

Pamela didn’t meet Andrews until she arrived at the station and began protesting her innocence

Before taking her to the cell, he shouted: “Shut up. Listen to me. You are in my custody now and
you will be quiet and you will listen. Do you understand?”

After walking out of her cell following a visit from a doctor, she said she was “lifted up under the arms like a doll” by Andrews and thrown headfirst back into the cell. He slammed the door, leaving her unconscious.

Pamela, from North Colerne, Wilts, says she may need a cataract op as a result of the attack.

After the case she criticised the length of the sentence and said: “What I found most distressing was when I heard he was sentenced to six months and could be out in three .

“I get the feeling that if he had been a member of the public that had assaulted me in that way he would have got a greater sentence.”

She denied Andrews’ claims that she was abusive and added: “I was very, very polite. When they kept telling me to shut up I was terrified.

“I have never been in trouble with the police. I was in handcuffs.

“I thought they must have mistaken me for someone who had done a terrible crime but would that justify what happened?”

Below is the link to the incident from which 2 of the still pictures are taken. Take note of the manner in which he is talking to her and the 'monkey man' swagger in which he carries himself!

It makes grim viewing does'nt it?

What i find most sinister is the 'culture' of cover-up that the thick as pigshit plods indulge in and that it took a female officer to speak out - i wonder where that brave lady will be moved to now?

When will The Police wake up and smell the coffee in that they really do have to, very carefully, profile the sort of person that wants to wear that nice uniform and all the bling that goes with it, oh, and the potential abuse of power and trust that these servants of the public are able to indulge in from time to time.

They spend plenty of their time and our money attempting to profile criminals so why not put some time and money into looking at their own recruitment profiling.

Firstly, they love to employ people who already like uniforms particularly the military who, generally speaking have already been 'broken' by the system and respond well to orders, like a pre-programmed robot. Secondly, there are all the other 'wannabees' who love uniforms and power (and there is no shortage of volunteers) and can't wait to 'mix it' with the taxpayers/criminals......

Below, Col Tim Collins - proper soldier.

In an ideal world people should join The Police in order to serve society and to protect their local community. The real world for a % of these 'servants' is far from that. They need to be reminded time and time again that they are the servants and not the masters.

Back to the case in question.

Since when is it illegal to sleep in a car? When driving on the motorway you are warned that 'tiredness kills' and are encouraged to 'take a break'. People sleep in cars for all sorts of reasons. Surely it is better to stop the car, remove the keys and lock yourself in rather than carry on and have an accident. I have known people who have been homeless and lived in their car for several months. People get stranded in the snow etc. There are a multitude of reasons for sleeping in a car. Some vehicles are actually designed to be slept in - why the fuck did they intimidate the poor woman into leaving the vehicle, which is often the safest place - if you are in trouble or have mechanical problems the emergency services reccomend that you stay in or with the vechicle.

She should never have left the vehicle and should have spoken to The Police through the window IMO. She should have explained the reasons for being in the vehicle, not that you have to and gone back to sleep. You do not have to give a breath sample unless you have been stopped whilst driving a vehicle and whatever else The Police say is bollocks.

Above, Melksham Police Station and Abu Gharib prison. One is a detention centre where suspects who are, at the time of arrest, innocent but prior to being charged are verbally abused, emotionally intimidated and physically assaulted the other is a prison in a lawless country thousands of miles away.

Beware the enemy within.........

She ends up being dragged on the floor and thrown into a cell by a bullying cop just for being in a car!

6'3" male coppper vs 5'2" female civilian - not much of a contest is it? 'And the winner is.....' Monkey Man......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Wf0yKzpGAY Thanks to Toots and the Maytals for this Ska gem.

What an aggressive, bullying knobhead.

The fact that 2 of his cowardly knobhead mates have had their evidence questioned does not surprise me - there is no independent witness to this so you might as well wipe your arse on their testimony. The judge said that as a Sergeant he oversaw a culture of intimidation and bullying at the Police station - surprise, fucking surprise! Those 2 twats now ought to be investigated as their evidence is obviously fabricated and does not tally with the statement given by the WPC (Rachel Web).

Why has this only been dealt with at Magistrates level, were The Masons too busy? From what i am told, Magistrates can only sentence upto 6 months, if a case is deemed to warrant a longer custodial sentence it goes to Crown Court where twats like this will be judged by a jury. Quite what you have to do in a Police station to warrant going to Crown beggars belief.

Shame on the Magistrates and shame on the defending lawyer for defending the indefensible! Let the twat provide his own defence - he should have got a 3 year sentence for this disgraceful behaviour from a position of trust.

I hope that the appeal gets overturned and the sentence is sent to Crown for review - there ought to be a public outcry over this sort of thing.................

Innocent until proven guilty but in the meantime abused and beaten up - 'Drive carefully sir'

I would like to know on what grounds soon-to-be-ex-Police-Thug-Mark-Andrews was given bail and leave to appeal? As appeals are held in private session i don't suppose we will know anytime soon. If only i could get the address of Jeremy Barton (nee Roley BirkinQC) and start sending him some dog-shit through the post,, hmmm..............

After the appeal hearing Roley BirkinQC explained to me, back in his chambers, how he managed to persuade the court to allow Andrews out on bail.

In the meantime Sgt Mark Andrews is not only Police Thug of the Week but also the first recipient of the 'Gene Hunt Bravery Award' and no it's not rhyming slang.........or is it?

Below, the coveted GHB Award.

'Normal' people would not get let out on appeal for an incident of this nature - The Police have had the best part of 2 years to get their lies sorted out and still they could'nt stitch her up (she had already been stitched up if you get my drift). I would dearly like to know why and how this piece of filth has managed to escape the 'rough justice' that eagerly awaits him in gaol.

Below, some of Marks' new 'friends' eagerly await his return.

The Warden is not best pleased with Marks' appeal

Perhaps he used one of these...........

There will be more on this, the first recipient of the GHB award when the scumbags appeal is thrown out!

Its not like the 'good old days'
